This article describes what information is synced between Connectably and Xero for contacts and companies.

Information synced between Connectably and Xero:

The image below (a Xero contact) is annotated with data that is synced between the two systems. The list below describes how:

  1. Xero: Contact Name, Connectably: Company Name. Xero uses the field 'Contact Name' for both consumer customers, and organisational customers. In Connectably, we create companies for these organisations. Updates to either system are synced to the other when either is updated.
  2. Xero: Primary Person, Connectably: Contact. Primary Person is synced with Connectably against the same organisation. When you 'Add another person' in Xero, these are added as additional contacts to the Connectably company. Similarly, when you associate additional contacts on Connectably with a company, then these additional contacts are also added to Xero, up to Xero's maximum of five contact persons. Any additional contacts per organisation remain on Connectably only.
  3. Xero: Email Address, Connectably: Email.  Email address for any contact or additional person on the organisation records. Syncs both ways on updates to the other system.
  4. Xero: Phone, Connectably: Phone. Phone numbers (multiple types) for any contact or additional person on the organisation records. Syncs both ways on updates to the other system.
  5. Xero: Website, Connectably: Website. Website for the organisation. Syncs both ways on updates to the other system. Appears in Contact and Companies record.
  6. Xero: Postal Address / Street Address, Connectably: Address (multiple types). Addresses (multiple types) for any contact or additional person on the organisation records. Syncs both ways on updates to the other system.
